About

With more than 30 years of experience in the interior design industry, Austin-based Bambi A’Lynn Interior Design focuses on the residential market, helping homeowners turn their dwellings into their sanctuaries. Owner Bambi Bratton believes that there has never been a more poignant time than the present to realize that our homes are our hearts and should reflect just that. Whether scouring Round Top for the perfect antique to complete a space, or visiting the Dallas showrooms with her clients to locate the best fabric or wall covering, Bratton’s approach is as personal as her final product. She listens, observes, and helps her clients discover their sense of style.

While known for her dressmaker detail and eye for color, Bratton believes that the essence of a house begins with the hard finishes; which encompass everything from cabinetry, fixtures, and flooring, to hardware and paint colors. She believes that a good design always begins with the basics—things many people might not notice right away—and she ensures that these evoke an atmosphere of thoughtfulness and a sense of home.

Bratton holds a Bachelor of Science in interior design from Baylor University. Before starting her own business 12 years ago, she worked for David Corley Interior Design, and Jan Showers & Associates. Her experiences have influenced her approach as has the world around her where she gathers inspiration from life’s natural beauty and art, whether it be a classic book, a ballroom gown fabric, wildflowers, period movies, or style icons such as Audrey Hepburn.

While the majority of Bratton’s clients reside in the Austin area, Bambi A’Lynn Interior Design is currently working on projects from coast to coast, including Scottsdale, Vail, and Naples. Wherever her projects are, Bratton works closely with architects, contractors, and craftsman as she focuses on her clients’ lives and brings her attention to detail and beauty into their homes to fulfill their dreams.
