So you've got the square footage. Now you need a Dyson with a wide head and enough battery power to get you from the basement to the top floor without having to stop and recharge. They also have a larger dust canister than other models, meaning you won't have to make as many trips to the trash can during your cleaning sessions. Nicely, these vacuums are still lightweight despite their larger capacity.

My review: I keep this one in my bedroom, and it serves as a white noise machine, fan, and humidifier for my skin (and my plants. It's an absolute godsend for me, as an allergy-prone person who 1) lives in a gross city and 2) has a partner with a long-haired dog. The app is very intuitive, and the humidifier doesn't have complicated, overwhelming features like others I've tried. I don’t think I'll ever live without one.

Our review: “The purifier itself works like a dream, and I noticed within a week of use that I felt noticeably less congested. I appreciated that the Hot+Cold has an auto mode, which continuously monitors room temperature and indoor air quality, while also running the fan or heat to the degree of your choosing. I really love this air purifier because I can feel and see it working (via the app). It's definitely a splurge. Are there other air purifiers out there that work just as well at a lower price point? Probably—but I would say it’s the combination of a high-quality air purifier, fan, and heater that make this one worth its price.”
