Memberships

What memberships are on offer from AD PRO and what do they include?

Created by AD’s editors, AD PRO is a membership community for design professionals. AD PRO is the ultimate resource for staying up to date on new developments and trends, finding inspiration, and staying one step ahead of industry peers.

There are two tiers of AD PRO membership: AD PRO, and AD PRO Directory. Standard AD PRO membership includes exclusive access to AD PRO news, features, and trend reports, as well as a year-round events roster, online courses, a job board, and 100 years of AD archives. AD PRO Directory members enjoy the benefits of AD PRO but also have the unique opportunity to list themselves or their business as an AD-approved design professional and connect with prospective clients. An approved application is required for AD PRO Directory membership.


How does AD PRO Directory membership differ from AD PRO?

AD PRO Directory membership offers all of the benefits of AD PRO, plus the unique ability to appear on the AD PRO Directory. An exciting new offering from AD, the AD PRO Directory connects clients with designers they trust. This tier of membership is only available to vetted and approved designers. How do I become an AD PRO member?

Please visit our membership page to find the best option for your needs.


Can I become an AD PRO member if I live outside the United States?

Yes. You can subscribe to AD PRO from most countries. Just note that payment will be taken in US Dollars. For further assistance, email ADProSupport@archdigest.com.

The AD PRO Directory currently only accepts members based in the US. If you live outside of the US but would like to register your interest, fill out the prompts on this page .


Payments and Cancellations

How much does an AD PRO membership cost?

AD PRO standard membership is $240 per year, or $25 per month. AD PRO Directory membership is only available on an annual basis, and costs $1,500 per year. AD PRO Directory members must apply and be approved to join.


Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover & Diners. We also accept Google Pay, PayPal, and Apple Pay. You can purchase an AD PRO membership online at any time.


When will I be charged for my AD PRO membership?

For AD PRO: Payment methods are charged upon receipt of both monthly and annual orders. It may take 2-3 days for the charge to appear on your statement. Monthly memberships will be automatically renewed each month thereafter unless you cancel. For annual memberships, you will be sent a renewal notice sufficiently in advance of the date it automatically renews. The notice will state the membership’s length of time and cost that are currently in effect.

How can I receive a receipt or confirmation of my membership, account details, or cancellation?

After joining, you can expect to receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. For all other requests, please email ADProSupport@archdigest.com or call 855-673-1729 (US customers) or +1-332-239-5611 (international customers).


How do I update my payment information associated with my membership?

You can update your payment method in My Account, under Manage Subscription. If you have trouble updating your payment method, please contact a Customer Service Representative at 855-673-1729 (or +1-332-239-5611 if outside the United States) or email ADProSupport@archdigest.com.


How do I cancel my membership?

If you choose not to continue your monthly or annual membership before your payment method is charged, please contact Customer Service at 855-673-1729 (or +1-332-239-5611, if outside the United States) or email ADProSupport@archdigest.com and your payment method will not be charged. Note: refunds are not available for monthly or annual orders.


How do I check when my membership expires?

You can view the expiration date of your membership (including gift subscriptions) via Customer Care.


Can I pause my AD PRO membership?

Memberships cannot be paused at this time.


How do refunds work?

Refunds are not available for monthly AD PRO members. If you sign into your account, or call Member Care at 855-673-1729, and cancel your membership, you will continue to have access to AD PRO until the end of that rolling month.

For annual AD PRO or AD PRO Directory members, while you may cancel at any time before your membership ends by signing in to your account or calling 855-673-1729 (or +1-332-239-5611, if outside the United States), your payment is non-refundable. Your access will continue until the end of your current membership. After that time, the cancellation will take effect and no further charges will be made.


If I cancel my AD PRO membership, do I still keep my membership benefits?

If you are a monthly AD PRO member, you will receive all benefits until the end of that month. You will not receive benefits scheduled after your membership end date. If you paid for an annual AD PRO membership, you will have continued access to AD PRO and available member benefits until the end of your annual membership period.

If you are an AD PRO Directory member, your profile can remain on the Directory until your 12-month period has expired.


If I cancelled my membership previously, how can I sign up again?

If you’d like to reinstate your AD PRO or AD PRO Directory membership, or sign up with the same email address after cancelling a previous membership, please contact our member support line:

Group / Student / Corporate / Gift Memberships

Do you offer AD PRO group memberships?

Yes, we offer group memberships for AD PRO. We are unable to offer them for the AD PRO Directory at this time. Please call us at 800-627-7369 or email ADProSupport@archdigest.com for more information.


I am a student, can I get discounted AD PRO membership?

Please contact Member Care at 855-673-1729 (or +1-332-239-5611, if outside the United States) to find out about the special rates available to students and educators.


Can I purchase a gift membership to AD PRO?

If you would like to purchase an AD PRO membership for someone else, please specify their name, email address, and mailing address on the order form. They will receive a welcome email in their inbox upon purchase. Unfortunately we do not allow AD PRO Directory memberships to be purchased as gifts.


Manage Your Membership

Why do I need to provide a mailing address for a digital membership?

In the event your email address used to log in becomes defunct, we will send notifications about your membership to your postal address instead.


What happens if I already have an architecturaldigest.com account?
AD PRO

You can use your existing architecturaldigest.com account to purchase an AD PRO membership. Sign in to your existing account before purchasing a membership to AD PRO. You may also activate your membership by entering your account email address when prompted after purchase.

AD PRO Directory

You can use your existing architecturaldigest.com account for your AD PRO Directory membership. Sign into your existing account; if your application is approved, you will need to use that same email address to purchase your AD PRO Directory membership.

If you already have an account with a different Condé Nast brand, you will be able to use those credentials to sign in to architecturaldigest.com.


What happens if I don't have an architecturaldigest.com account?

If you do not have an account, you will be prompted to create one when you purchase or apply to any AD PRO membership.

If you already have an account with another Condé Nast brand, you will be able to use the same credentials to sign in to architecturaldigest.com.


How do I change my membership from monthly to annual?

If you’d like to switch your monthly AD PRO membership to an annual membership, please contact our member support line:

I have recently become an AD PRO member. How do I log in?

Members can log in here. If you have not created a log in yet, you can create an account here.


I’m signed in, but am still unable to access AD PRO content. What should I do?

If you have a log in for AD PRO but it is not currently associated with a verified membership, you can associate your membership with your log in by signing into AD PRO and then verifying your membership.


I’m trying to verify my membership, but I got an error that my membership is already associated with another account. What should I do?

If your membership is associated with an existing account, you may have already registered with AD or another Condé Nast brand. If you cannot remember which email address is associated with your membership, please contact us at 855-673-1729 (or +1-332-239-5611, if outside the United States) or email ADProHelp@archdigest.com.


I forgot my password, or need to reset it. How can I do that?

Simply visit architecturaldigest.com/adpro, select “Sign In” at the top-right corner of your screen, then “Forgot Password?”. If there is an AD PRO account associated with your email address, we will send you instructions for resetting your password, or you can reset your password here.


How do I make changes to my email address or password?

You can visit the AD PRO profile page to manage your AD PRO account information, including your email address and password.


Why doesn’t architecturaldigest.com/adpro keep me signed in?

When you sign in on architecturaldigest.com/adpro, be sure to check the box that reads “Keep me signed in.” As long as you have cookies enabled, the website will remember your account on that browser.


AD PRO Membership

What is the Architectural Digest Archive and how do I access it?

The AD Archive stores digital replicas of every available print issue of the magazine published since 1920. Members can explore the archive at archive.architecturaldigest.com.


How do I search the AD Archive?

Select the magnifying glass from the top menu at archive.architecturaldigest.com, and then choose to search either the issue you’re currently viewing or the entire archive. The search uses Optical Character Recognition to scan every word in the issue or archive, including advertisements.


Can I print articles from the AD Archive?

Yes, you can. Simply select the Print icon in the top-right toolbar, then choose which pages you’d like to print. A printer icon will appear over each page you’ve selected to be printed. Once you’ve finished selecting pages, select the paper size and then click the blue Print button at the top of the page.


How can I share articles from the AD Archive?

Because the AD Archive is a member-only benefit, we do not allow sharing at this time.


What is the AD PRO Jobs Board and how can I access it?

The AD PRO Jobs Board connects leading design companies with the best talent available—our premium job boards feature a highly selective list of roles and openings. AD PRO members receive a complimentary listing—a $240 value—plus 20% off future purchases. The AD PRO Jobs Board is available for all to browse at jobs.architecturaldigest.com.


How do I receive my AD PRO member discount for the Jobs Board?

Email ADProMemberships@archdigest.com to receive your member rate/discount code for job posts.


What are AD PRO Trend Reports and how do I access them?

For trend reports dating from Summer 2022 and earlier, log into your AD PRO account at architecturaldigest.com, then click on “Account,” “Profile,” then “Trend Reports.” Click here to visit AD PRO’s 2023 forecast, “The Designer Home in 2023.”


What are CEU credits and are they included within my AD PRO membership?

A CEU, or continuing education unit, is a measure used for professional licensing in some fields. As an AD PRO member you are eligible to take CEU-accredited online education courses at no additional charge. To receive your access code for complimentary access, please contact ADProSupport@archdigest.com.


How do I sign up for email newsletters?

Visit architecturaldigest.com/newsletter/subscribe to sign up for any of our newsletters, including AD PRO, AD Daily, AD It Yourself, and Clever.


I signed up for your newsletters. Why am I not receiving them regularly?

Please check your spam folder. If the problem persists, please call us at 855-673-1729 (US customers) or +1-332-239-5611 (international customers) or email ADProSupport@archdigest.com.


How do I unsubscribe from a newsletter or marketing email?

To unsubscribe from a newsletter, select Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email, or sign in to My Account from the top-right corner. You can manage your newsletter subscriptions at the bottom of your profile.

For all marketing emails, select Unsubscribe at the bottom of the email.

How do I access the industry events calendar, and can I get my event listed?

The AD PRO industry events calendar is available at architecturaldigest.com/events. To inquire about having your event featured, please contact ADProMemberships@archdigest.com.


As an AD PRO member, do I need to pay extra to attend AD PRO Events?

AD PRO Workshops and a selection of in-person events are complimentary for AD PRO Members.


AD PRO Directory

What is the AD PRO Directory and who is it for?

The AD PRO Directory is a new resource for anyone seeking to browse and connect with trusted design professionals. These designers have been approved by AD editors and can be hired for jobs ranging from full-service home renovations to one-off commissions. Interested in having your business featured? Apply here.


I'm a design professional interested in joining the AD PRO Directory, but I am not based in the US. Can I still apply?

AD PRO Directory membership is currently only available to US-based design professionals, but will be expanding to new markets soon. Click here to register your interest.


How do you select professionals for the AD PRO Directory?

Each application is reviewed by the AD editors to ensure the highest quality and standards. If approved to join, AD PRO Directory members pay an annual membership fee.


What is the process for applying to have my business listed in the AD PRO Directory?

For professionals wishing to join the AD PRO Directory, we’ve created a simple application form that requires you to submit information about your business and images that demonstrate your portfolio of work.

The form contains three sections:

– About Your Business

– Describe Your Business

– Photos

While filling out your application, you have the ability to "save" your details in case you need to source more information, and return back to the form to complete and submit when you're ready.

Once you submit your application, it will be reviewed by the AD editors, who will either approve it, or ask for additional information or images if needed. In some instances, applications may not be right for the Directory, in which case you will be informed and your details will be kept on file should you decide to apply again in the future.

How long will it take for my application to be reviewed?

We aim to review applications within approximately five business days.


How long will it take for my AD PRO Directory profile to be published and available on the Directory?

Once your application has been approved and payment has been processed, your Directory profile should appear online within two business days.


Why would I be asked to make revisions to my application?

We want to make sure your Directory profile looks as great as possible! This may require adding some additional information about your business or past professional experience, adding higher-quality images, or presenting a wider variety of work.


What type of imagery are you looking for?

We want you to be able to present your work at its very best, so we're looking for crisp, clear, high-quality images that are well-lit and easily legible, and that showcase your design style. Images should provide an overview of the best of your portfolio, and present at least two completed projects. Wide shots will be more helpful than details, and photography is preferred over renderings. Read more at our application guide here.


Can I make changes to my live AD PRO Directory business profile?

Yes, you can. Please contact ADProMemberships@archdigest.com with any changes you wish to make. Please allow five business days for these changes to appear.

Please note we only allow you to edit your live Directory profile up to three times in a 12-month period.


Can I apply again for the AD PRO Directory if my first application is not accepted?

Yes. Please email ADProMemberships@archdigest.com or call 855-673-1729 (US customers) or +1-332-239-5611 (international customers) and we can reopen your application.


How many AD PRO Directory profiles can I have?

An individual or business can have only one application or one profile live on the AD PRO Directory at any given time.


What happens if I want to have more than one business listed on the AD PRO Directory?

You will need to create a new account in order to apply again—click here. Please note this will require an email address different from your existing login.


How do I use the AD PRO Directory to find the right professional for my project?

You have the option to search the Directory by category, including:

– Architecture

– Interior Design + Decor

– Outdoor + Garden Design

When viewing AD PRO Directory profiles, you will have the option to filter by location (state) and / or by profession.

How will the membership team get in touch with me if they have any questions about my application?

We will use the email address associated with your account to contact you.


Will my AD PRO Directory profile be published exactly as I have submitted it?

By submitting your application, you understand and agree that the AD editors will have editorial discretion in updating your Directory profile based on the information provided in your application.


I'm an existing AD PRO member and my application has just been approved. How do I cancel my existing membership?
